The name of the fable than the gossips to consider to work Than to consider gossip to work, it is not better for yourself, godfather, to turn around. Winged expressions from the fable "The Mirror and the Monkey"

Bugai from the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, insecure representatives of other faiths on the one hand, and dystrophies from science and pedagogy, on the other, amicably and impudently shout about the need to let the law of God into the school under the name of “alternative points of view”. And all this under the slogans of either democracy, or pluralism, or scientific creationism, or the eternal incompleteness and defectiveness of scientific knowledge. From the polyphonic chorus of defenders of ignorance and preachers of obscurantism, the public's ears were filled up, the head was spinning, and common sense was dull. Well, let's try to reason sensibly.

If one begins to invest in the consciousness of schoolchildren not only the truths established by science, but also the content of those innumerable misconceptions about these truths that have existed in the scientific and near-scientific environment for at least two or three thousand years, then what will the matured students who graduated from such a school know? Indeed, in the name of science, thousands of erroneous truths were expressed by the same scientists on any modern scientific reliable truth. Tens, hundreds and even thousands of assumptions, guesses, hypotheses were expressed on the phenomenon being investigated and still unknown to science, and only one of them later turned out to be true. Moreover, one and the same content of truth was expressed in tens and hundreds of competing options. So, there are several hundred proofs of the Pythagorean theorem in the scientific world. But in order to know that the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the legs, one convincing proof is enough. A hundred other proofs add nothing to the knowledge of this theorem. On the contrary, if one more, second, proof strengthens the knowledge of the first version of the truth, then the third will already leave the student indifferent, the fourth will get bored, and the hundredth may cause disgust for the theorem itself. And the presentation of alternative, even essentially fair, points of view on the same truth will not leave room in the student's mind for this truth in general. And if the scientific truth of evolutionary doctrine is opposed to theological creationism, then the student will stop believing not only in science, but also in creationism.

Of course, in science there have been and will be alternative points of view, alternative explanations of the same natural processes in nature, society and in the spiritual world of man. This is especially true for those problems that are still poorly available for practical and evidence-based comprehension of their essence. But these questions are meant to be solved by scientists. A schoolboy is not a scientist. He, in the words of the Boy from the movie “Cinderella”: “I am not a magician / not a scientist yet. I'm just learning. "

Therefore, even from a pedagogical point of view, creationism and other kinds of alternative anti-scientific concepts will undoubtedly harm the immature consciousness of students.

ІІ.

Protodeacon Andrei Kuraev, Archpriest Vsevodod Chaplin and the chief priest Kirill Gundyaev persistently with numerous "arguments" prove the necessity and usefulness of teaching at school in parallel with the Law of God under the name "Orthodox Culture" of the alternative evolutionary teaching course of creationism. The arguments of these God-bearing shepherds and their followers have stuck in their teeth, and have long been known to everyone. I will not repeat them. Boring and useless. But in line with the speeches of the "guardians" about the school and about the younger generation, I can share practical advice with all the articulate attackers on the school.

Holy Fathers and not holy Fathers, why are you trying so disagreeably to put your own order in not your, secular and state, school? Religion, according to the Constitution, is separated from the state, and the school is separated from the church. Why would you climb the fence separating you from the school with your "good advice"? Do you have little worries of your own? Do you have your own schools? There are plenty!

For the benefit of your own cause, first read the fable of Ivan Andreevich Krylov “The Mirror and the Monkey. In the monkey's mirror you will see yourself. See:

The monkey, seeing his image in the Mirror, Quietly the Bear pushed his foot: "Look," he says, "my dear godfather! What kind of mug is that? What grimaces and leaps she has! I would have strangled myself with melancholy, If only at her But, admit it, there are five or six of my gossips: I can even count them on my fingers. " - "?" - Mishka answered her. But Mishenka’s advice was wasted.

Rather than climbing over the fence into secular schools, it is no better for you, priests, to turn to your schools. In your schools, all of you en masse and one by one teach listeners and students only your creed. But the belief that you teach your own, there are tens and hundreds of more powerful beliefs in your belief in the world. You interpret to your own, for example, that the Bible is the only absolutely holy and absolutely infallible teaching of the Lord God Himself - Sabaoth / Jehovah. There is no evidence for this your statement. Objective, without any prejudice, analysis shows that the Bible is a contradictory, ignorant and untenable source. This, as they say, goes without saying. But besides this, the Bible has many alternative sources of doctrine. For Muslims, the Koran is no less than your Bible, - the only absolutely holy and absolutely infallible teaching of the Lord God Himself - Allah. Compared to the Bible, the Qur'an has much less internal contradictions, although the absurdities there match the biblical. For Buddhists, the holy infallible and absolutely true Tripitaki is, for Hindus - the Vedas, for Mormons - the Book of Mormon ... All these sources of the "only true" religious teaching have three to four times more admirers than there are in the world of Bible fans. Why don't you introduce the study of these alternative Bibles of sacred books in your educational institutions? Oh, that's how ?! You are studying the teachings of other religions and their sacred books! Perfectly! But how do you study them? - Oh, that's how! - Critically. So, in our secular schools your scriptures and the same creationism are critically studied. And how many good words you say to these teachings about other religions, so many good things are said in schools about creationism. We are not against what you say about other religions and about other holy books that are not yours. So you do not oppose what we say in our secular schools about your creationism. Do you want to discuss with us publicly? Please invite us to your radio and TV shows. We, and I personally, agree to speak with you, even in your seminaries, even in your theological academies. Invite. Want to read you a course on atheism. From me, seminarians hear what atheism says about itself, not what you tell them about atheism. Doesn't this suit you? Then why should the utter heresy that you are trying to smuggle into our school be suitable for us?

"What to consider gossip to work, Isn't it better for yourself, godfather, to turn around?" -

Each of us has our own shortcomings. This cannot be avoided - there are no ideal people. But it is one thing to have and recognize these shortcomings, and quite another to deny and blame the other for them, as we do more and more often, as well as the monkey from the fable "The Mirror and the Monkey."

The moral of Krylov's fable "The Mirror and the Monkey"

According to the classics of the genre, the moral of the fable "The Mirror and the Monkey" Ivan Andreevich concluded in one of the last lines of his work - in a phrase that does not require explanation and has become a quote since the publication of the instructive poem: "No one likes to recognize himself in satire." But in order not to do this, you just need to be able to admit your mistakes and shortcomings.

Analysis of the fable "Mirror and the Monkey"

The basis of the fable "The Mirror and the Monkey" is the "beloved" Krylov human vice - ignorance. It is ridiculed literally in every line of the work: both where the monkey, having found a mirror, did not recognize himself in it, and where it is described with what disgust she looked at the unfamiliar reflection, and where the stupid animal compares the "antics" with its acquaintances , and, of course, where the monkey ignores the bear's hint to look at itself.

It is to look at oneself from the outside that the author calls on all those who are used to judging the actions of others. Moreover, with the help of this fable, Krylov is trying to force a specific person-bribe-taker to do this, for which he inserts his surname into the text.

Moral of the fable "The Mirror and the Monkey"

The moral of the fable about the monkey, who condemned his own reflection, seen in the mirror, but did not recognize himself, is contained in the lines of the creation that "No one likes to recognize himself in satire."

Indeed, many of us are very clear about other people's shortcomings, and can talk about what is "good" and what is "bad", about right or wrong actions when it comes to other people.

But few of us are able to admit our own shortcomings and mistakes.

With this fable, Ivan Krylov teaches us, before condemning bad habits or wrong behavior of another person, first analyze our own behavior and correct the mistakes we have made.

Morality in your own words, the main idea and meaning of the fable Mirror and the monkey

Often people do not notice the shortcomings in themselves, but they readily criticize others.

Analysis of the fable Mirror and the monkey

In the fable "The Mirror and the Monkey" the fabulist IA Krylov showed a casual conversation between two animals, in which the bear poked the monkey with his face in its ignorance and points out the shortcomings of people. The monkey, examining his reflection, for some reason saw the shortcomings of all acquaintances and girlfriends, but not her own.

The author makes fun of such people with the help of works, translating their behavior into the image of one or another animal. But quite often there are individuals who think too highly of themselves, in contrast to the stupid and not beautiful environment. Many have come across at least once with such ignorant people who do not notice their flaws at all, but actively point to strangers and laugh at them. So in this fable, the monkey is unable to admit that the antics that she sees is she herself, and does not pay attention to the bear's advice, letting him go deaf.

People who are depicted in the fable in the role of a bear are often silent and try not to interfere with the behavior of the "monkeys", which further emphasize the confidence of the latter in their rightness. But this is probably not the right decision, and such ignorance and arrogance should be suppressed.
